Marketing Campaign
GE Polymerland led the polymer sales efforts for GE Plastics with small to medium customers by both media and Web site support programs developed by Salter & Associates. GE Polymerland’s Web site offered Speed, Accuracy, Convenience and Security. Salter & Associates helped them increase site traffic with a 4-part post card direct mail effort, followed by a unique foldout brochure that brought the four benefits together in one piece. Salter & Associates as the media-buying agency implemented a program of trade advertising. Placement became key, as in Plastic News where ads appeared above the publications pricing chart. Polymerland became the leader in the industry and they stayed there with marketing messages that talked to their customers and prospects.

Ad Campaign When SANYO needed new trade media ads to increase awareness and generate leads for unique features of two key product lines, OffWhite established a full-page ad template which would comply with previously developed corporate identification standards. The template permits unique expression of ad components such as photography and embedded comparison snapshots, with flexible bids for action and scalability for different sizes and aspect ratios required for print publications.

Marketing Campaign
Broughton Foods, LLC, a division of Dean Foods, Inc. has been a leading proponent of customer support advertising. They continue to choose Salter & Associates to create the sales support advertising and package design ideas that make them a leader in their marketplace. The S&A package design group worked with package manufacturers to create consumer choices that sell. The client was looking for package appeal, while at the same time, considering packaging costs and effective use of product packaging equipment. In the end, the creative lynch pin was an attractive Guernsey cow named Sugar. She appeared on packaging, sales promotion materials, and in television commercials. It worked so well, the client asked if she could be added to their commercial delivery truck fleet. Sugar is now an up and coming star.

Corporate Image Brochure The Esco Corporate Image brochure was designed to introduce Esco to customers, distributors and key account managers in more than 105 different countries. Taking our cue from the historical and logistical significance of Singapore as a world trading center, the brochure title “Building Bridges to the World” was crafted to establish Esco’s Singapore genesis as DNA of a company comfortable in synthesizing global ideas into products destined for the life science, pharmaceutical, medical and industrial laboratory community. The brochure tells the story of Esco, from its founding in 1978 to its current market position with direct offices in 9 countries and more than 300 distributors. Written and designed by OffWhite, the brochure was printed in Singapore from InDesign files posted to our FTP server. Production included an outer wrap and an inner pocket configured to hold a poster-sized product map detailing the company’s complete product line, features, benefits, geospecific availability, sales and support. ![]() GE Electromaterials
Tradeshow Campaign
GE Electromaterials, manufacturer of printed circuit board materials wanted to increase awareness of their GETEK line, which offers performance benefits over comparably priced competitive products. Salter & Associates developed a campaign positioning GETEK as the “best shot” for cost/performance value featuring U.S. National Women’s billiards champion, Ewa Mataya Laurance. Trade advertising and direct mail led up to the IPC Printed Circuit Boards Expo in San Jose, CA, where the GE Electromaterials’ booth incorporated the campaign theme (and drew great attendance!) with a pool table and exhibitions by WPBD champion Laurance. Web Site Wieser & Cawley Furniture and Flooring needed a Web site that would appeal to a younger generation of furniture buyers without alienating long-time customers. OffWhite used a creative and modern design combined with a muted color palette to achieve this goal. The site features a robust products database with an enhanced search feature that allows customers to narrow product searches by brand, type, finish and keyword. The site is maintained by the Wieser & Cawley staff through the OffWhite Ed.it Content Management System. |
