Bill White Named to Ohio Entrepreneurship Roundtable

June 25, 2008, Columbus, OH - Bill White, a principal of OffWhite Salter LLC, has been named to the Entrepreneurial and Small Business Roundtable of the Ohio Department of Development.
The Roundtable is an outgrowth of Governor Ted Strickland's decision to elevate the office of Small Business Development to Division status within the state, to place the Lt. Governor in charge of the Ohio Department of Development, and to focus more resources on entrepreneurship and small business interests in retaining and expanding more than 920,000 small businesses in the state, and attracting new business in targeted growth areas. These include:
White, who has extensive experience in information mapping and technology marketing, was assigned to the Roundtable’s Technology Committee to examine and map sources, uses and emerging technologies of need or benefit to small business.
Among the Roundtable’s original tasks will be acquisition of information from private and public organizations in preparation of an advisory report to the Department of Development in October, 2008.
According to White, "Our participation in this statewide initiative will offer value to our clients throughout Ohio, West Virginia and the USA as we work to support new and emerging growth companies."
White is a charter affiliate and technical marketing specialist of Design Services Network, Sidney, OH, a research, testing and intellectual property development initiative of Emerson Climate Technologies, a division of Emerson (NYSE: EMR).
